In comparison to the batteries inverter installations, it has appeared that progress on the solar array has been slow. It has taken nearly three weeks to get 554 bolts epoxied into the concrete foundation. Each bolt has been meticulously measured to the millimetre and squared independently of the foundation. Bottom nuts have been levelled using a laser level. Despite the appearance of slow progress, the efforts set the base for an easy installation of the remaining structure. This week saw the first of the aluminium ground mount structure assembled. Once begun, progress has been fast. Nearly a quarter of the structure is assembled already and the first solar modules will be installed next week.
