What is interesting about this system is that we've been able to put multiple array angles and aspects on a single inverter without an performace impact on the system as a whole.  The inverter used here provides 3 - phase power and has enough inputs for 3 different solar arrays at different angles and aspects.  Each array is maximum power point tracked so the whole array works in concert.  Generally, smaller inverters have only one input so if solar panels are facing different directions the whole system works to the weakest link.
