Powersmart Energy Meter Box

The Powersmart Solar Energy Meter Box is a complete system to allow accurate monitoring of demand side loads using a Current Transducer (CT) based energy meter.  It is designed around the SMA School Meter Box and the SMA communication system.

Main Components:
WattsOn – Universal Power Transducer - WattsOn energy meter monitors each phase individually and incorporates the functions of single-phase, split-phase, and three-phase meters, to provide over 15 electrical measurements, per phase. 

School Meter Box – uses the pulsing output of the WattsOn meter to allow you to display the energy load.  This data can be viewed via a computer connected to the SMA Sunny Webbox.

Laird Wireless Transceiver (optional) – wireless RS485 communication for when hard wiring the RS485 connection between the SMA school meter box and SMA Webbox is not feasible.
