Solar Power for Schools
24 July 2014

The Greens are hot on the solar promotion tour with them announcing their 'Solar for Schools' policy today in Laingholm. Solar and schools go together well, as schools peak demand for power is during the day when solar panel electricity production is at its peak. This means that the electricity generated by the solar panels is used internally rather than exported. Giving a greater return. Seems obvious to PowerSmart when you have the suns free energy beating down on schools throuhout the country. This project if given the go ahead would be very similar to the ACT schools programme that we were part of in 2012.

"We have never had a project go so smoothly, they finished two weeks ahead of schedule."
