Sylvia Park in Auckland has installed New Zealand's largest solar electricity system on top of Pak n Save and the Hoyts cinema complex. Sylvia park uses lots of electricity during the summer powering AC units when solar electricity production is at peak this will enable payback of this investment in as little as 7 years. This massive system has featured both on TV3 and TV1 news.
For the team at PowerSmart Solar the installation was a real challenge as it was installed during the December Christmas rush and involved multiple crane lifts and the delivery of large amounts of gear. Despite these challenges we got some great feedback from Jason Happy, National Facilities Manager at Kiwi Income Property Trust which owns Sylvia Park, "We deal with a great number of contractors and would rate PowerSmart delivery onsite as amongst the very best."
