Where is the leadership in the Electricity industry
3 December 2015

Over the last two years PowerSmart has had visits from a number of politicians regarding solar generation in NZ. One of the regular visitors has been Gareth Hughes from the Green Party who had his 'Fair Go For Solar' come up in front of Parliament recently. The bill was looking at ways to give small generators a fairer go.

It got close to passing its first reading but close is not close enough and eventually went down by one vote. The lack of open mindness to even look at this bill was very disappointing for all of us at PowerSmart and its failure motivated Mike Bassett-Smith to write a little article on 'Leadership in the Electricity industry in New Zealand' for blog site Pure Advantage

"We have never had a project go so smoothly, they finished two weeks ahead of schedule."

Dan Udy - Director: Udy Group
